Greetings!

Halloween is a fun time, but can also be scary for kids, pets and parents.  Here are a few tips to keep your Halloween fun and safe!

Candy
  • Eat only factory-wrapped treats. 
  • Avoid eating homemde treats made by strangers.  
  • Parents should inspect all candy for possible tampering.
  • Don't allow children to overeat candy

Trick or Treat

  • Avoid Trick or Treating Alone
  • Do not enter the home of a stranger
  • Only walk on sidewalks or on the far edge of the road facing traffic
  • Look both ways before crossing the street
  • Hold a flashlight to help you see and help others see you.
  • Always WALK from house to house.
  • Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see you.

Cotumes

  • Swords, knives, and similar costume accessories should be short, soft and flexible
  • Wear well-fitting masks, costumes and shoes to avoid blocked vision, trips and falls.
  • Never walk near lit candles or luminaries.
  • Be sure to wear flame-resistant costumes

Above all else, STAY SAFE and HAVE FUN!!!  Come by the office for a special treat!!!
